Terms & Conditions
Burrum Heads Beachfront Campground is a privately owned property. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who fails to accept our terms and conditions/conditions of entry. By entering the property you agree to the below rules and acknowledge that the below potential hazards are/may be present during your time on the property:
– Hot Ash/Open Fires
– Wire Fencing
– Beach access with no fence/lifeguard on duty
– Uneven steps/surfaces
– Deep water/unfenced waterways
– Falling tree’s/branches
– Snakes/Wildlife
– Fire/Flood/Strong Winds
Any kayaks, paddle boards, or similar that are used by guests are used at their own risk, these are not the responsibility of Burrum Shores Beachfront Campground and are used at your own discretion and risk.
All visitors are responsible for the supervision of their children/dependants and ensure their strict adherence to the rules and regulations of the property. All visitors must not enter restricted areas on the property or each individuals area unless personally invited.
Fires are only permitted in raised fire pits and can only be within our park – NO FIRES PERMITTED ON THE BEACH. All visitors are responsible to extinguish fires at the end of the night and ash must be cold by check out day for disposal. NO ASH IS TO BE LEFT AT SITE
All grey water must be collected (can be emptied on trees at edge of property)
The main guest/master guest is responsible for advising all guests that form part of their reservation, the rules and regulations of the property.
No schoolies, No parties
All food items must be put away and sealed in containers at all times along with bins to be covered to prevent wildlife from approaching.
All rubbish is to be removed from property by guest, we only supply recycle bins not general waste so please ensure to remove all rubbish and be responsible for all your waste.
Any unruly behaviour will not be tolerated and management has the right to cease your stay with no credit given.
One car per campsite, trailers and extra cars will need to be parked away from site and up to onsite host to advise.
Cancellation
All cancellations must be received in writing/email unless otherwise advised.
Off-peak
Cancellations within 28 days or less: Deposit paid is forfeited
Peak
Cancellations between 40 days – 29 days prior: 25% of total value of booking is charged
Cancellations between 28 days – 15 days: 50% of total value of booking is charged
Cancellations 14 days or less: No Refund
Mid-stay departures or no shows
No refund will be given if a guest decides to leave during their stay.
No shows – Management reserves the right to cancel bookings by 10am the next day. Please contact the park should there be a delay to your scheduled arrival date.
Refunds
Refund requests must be received in writing/email. Any refunds will be at the discretion of management. Any money entitled to the guest after applying the Cancellation Terms may be held in credit for a future booking.
When the same credit card is available, the refund will be processed by Park Management into the same card used for the booking. Please allow 3-5 business days for funds to reach your account.
When the credit card is no longer available, or payment was made with a savings card, a bank statement which includes the BSB, account number and your name must be sent to Park Management. Please allow 5-10 business days for the funds to reach your bank account.
